Meet the NMP team.

Nicole Mills

Since my teens, I’ve loved the click of the shutter — but it wasn’t until my daughter was born in 2010 that photography truly became part of who I am. Having waited until almost 40 to have her, I knew she’d likely be my only one, and I wanted to capture everything — her laughter, her little expressions, her growing sense of self. That’s where my fall down the rabbit hole of photography began.

As she grows and becomes her own person, I want her to know something it took me years to learn: perfect doesn’t exist. Like so many women, I know what it feels like to question your worth, to pick yourself apart, to feel not enough. And while I know I can’t eliminate all those minefields ahead of her, my hope is to help her to maneuver them gracefully.

That same hope guides how I photograph every woman and girl who steps in front of my lens.
I want you to see your beauty — not because everything looks “just right,” but because it’s you. Your strength. Your vulnerability. Your spark. And maybe even that slightly lopsided grin.

My goal is to create an experience that feels deeply personal — one that’s respectful, meaningful, and unforgettable.
Together, we’ll create artwork that celebrates you and becomes part of your family’s legacy for generations to come.

Nancy Bergren

STUDIO MANAGER

I'm Nancy and am so excited to be working and helping Nicole do what she loves doing best, "being creative along with growing her business." I'm the one behind the scenes, crossing the "t's" and dotting the "i's."

I'm a local, living in Pine Island along with my little dog, Bella. I'm a project manager by trade, so yes, organization is sort of in my wheelhouse! Unlike Nicole, my creativity comes in the form of kits or patterns, meaning cross stitch or otherwise which works well for me!

I also enjoy gardening, and being outdoors which includes shoveling or blowing snow, lawn mowing, etc. My list could go on, but one thing I believe in is L.I.F.E ~ "Learning is forever!" I’m enjoying learning more about the photography industry and am happy to be part of the NMP team.

Keep smiling everyone!

Becky Greenfield

ASSOCIATE PHOTOGRAPHER

I’m based in Burnsville, MN. I’ve always loved photography, and two years ago, I turned my longtime hobby into a job that brings me joy.

I prefer the chaos of a toddler session over a formal family portrait. If my studio is in shambles after a session, I consider it a great day! Life’s moments aren’t posed. Capturing real life moments is my goal.

I adore, and am drawn to, photos that get up close to a child’s eyes. What sweet innocence to see. I will never grow tired of witnessing the teary smiles as new parents hold their newborn babies, hearing a toddler’s laughter and seeing their cute expressions.

There is a quote that says, “Only photograph what you love.” I am so blessed to have found a profession I love that also allows me to create memories for families.

I look forward to working with you and your beautiful newborn baby.

Shane Hoff

BEAUTY AND BRAWN

Shane is the brawn behind NMP! He’s the mover, the furniture picker-upper, the prop installer, and all around good guy to have around when you need something. Though he does try to keep Nicole from buying “more” studio chairs, so he does have at least one fault. He loves animals, but will never admit it, and he’s been married to Nicole since 2010 (hopefully, he’ll admit that)!

Beauty can be seen in all things.
Seeing and composing the beauty is what separates the snapshot from the photograph.
